Taipei Zoo MRT Station

Although this MRT station is quite some distance away from the downtown area of Taipei, the Taipei Zoo is a must see.
The animals are housed in spacious well designed habitats, and there are a large variety to visit.

2. MaoKong Gondola
This is a short walk away from the zoo. The best time to go is around sunset, especially if you are with a significant other because you can get a gorgeous view of the city with a romantic atmosphere.
Once at the top, there are a variety of cafes where you can sip tea in a relaxed environment.
