Solo Doesn't Mean Lonely
1. Huashan 1914 Creative Park
For those who are travelling by themselves, Huashan 1914 Creative Park must not be missed. Especially if you like photography! It is located in the middle of the Zhong Xiao Xin Sheng MRT station and Shan Dao Temple MRT station.


Built in 1914, the factory was among Taiwan’s largest wine producers throughout the 1920s. It was 1997 when members of the Golden Bough Theatre discovered this abandoned factory A small section of the factory was then restored by them to stage plays.
2. Yong Kang Street
Located in Dong Men MRT station, Yong Kang Street is one of the must-visit places in Taipei. They have local stalls that bring out the Taiwanese night market culture but the streets are not as congested as the other night markets.

There are also a few cafès around the area that serves both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. You can read a book and enjoy a cup of coffee in one of the coffee shops. Each café has their specialty. Caffè Libero, NEST, yaboo, Cafè Kafka, just to name a few.
