When people think of Beitou, they think of (expensive) hotsprings. Well, you don't have to spend an an arm and a leg to relax! Just head over to Beitou’s hell valley.

This is a volcanic crater filled with steaming natural sulfuric hot spring water. The temperatures of the waters can reach up to 100°C (212°F), making them unsuitable for bathing. But can be a spectacular experience as you are engulfed with the smell of sulfur and steam.

Then head up to Tamsui fisherman’s wharf where you can taste the local cuisine and then take the ferry that operates between Tamsui old street, bali and Dadaochen ferry pier.
